New Gombe gov announces first appointments, ex-UNIMAID is now SSG


Gombe state Governor Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya has approved the appointment of Professor Ibrahim Njodi, the immediate past Vice chancellor of University of Maiduguri as Secretary to the state Government (SSG) and 11 others.
The Director Administration and Finance Government House Gombe, Mohammed Umar, made the announcement in a press statement signed and made available to newsmen in Gombe at the weekend.
The statement said other appointments made by the governor included Bappayo Yahaya as Head of Civil Service (HOCS), Mohammed Kabir Usman Kukandaka as Chief of Staff (COS),


Usman Mamman Kamara is Principal Private Secretary (PPS), and Ismaila Uba Misilli is to serve as Senior Special Assistant, Media & Publicity to the Governor. 


Others are Kabiru Ibn Mohammad Special Assistant (Media), Sulaiman Musa (Arzoo) Special Assistant (Media), Bintu Aliyu Sunmonu Special Assistant (Media), Jack A. Tasha Special Assistant (Media),  Musa Habibu (Bushasha) Special Assistant (Protocol), Yakubu Ibrahim Sarki Special Assistant (Protocol) and Sani Garba as another Special Assistant. All the appointments are with immediate effect.
