New Iyan Zazzau Tajudeen: A bridge builder

Hon. Dr. Abbas Tajudeen APC member representing Zaria Federal Constituency of Kaduna state, in the House of Representatives, had all along wished to use his huge experience as a lecturer and lawmaker to   transform the dreams and aspirations of the people to a reality in the state.

In fact, only time would tell, how far he has gone in attempting to tell the people to vote for him as lawmaker representing Zaria federal constituency for the third time  despite his foot prints on the land. Perhaps as a grass root politician ,  he  has shown willingness to serve his  people well in his  number of  times  as lawmaker at the national assembly, reason being that he known’s were the  shoes pinches  them and he is definitely  doing it.

No wonder he has rhetorically stated that   the only thing he will leave undone is to leave his people alone

Tajudeen has also repeatedly told journalist in Abuja that he is more interested of rewriting the history of Zaria in gold than making public statement, adding that he will achieve that by bringing in fresh ideas and projects to help the people and the teaming youths.

He has said he do everything that will have direct bearings on the lives of the young and the old. According to him, Zaria is a great city and to maintain the legacy of the city is to keep the city achieves clean and maintain the city structure as well as provide the basic amenities and facilities to the people at the grassroots, saying he will do everything possible to promote peace and unity among the people.

On his mission and vision as the new Iyan Zazzau, the lawmaker said his “objectives are to keep the law and do what is right to the people as well as making laws that will bring development to the people and also  enhance project base development were jobs will be created. He said he will assist the Emir of Zazzau to achieve his aim and support him to succeed on the throne.

According to him, he will use his office as a lawmaker to provide job opportunities and better education facilities to the youths, which they would be proud of and for posterity sake.

He said he is strongly persuaded by the facts that his new office as the Iyan Zazzau will bring blessing to the people of Zaria and Kaduna state in particular because he will not disappoint them and at the national assembly he will continue to make laws that will help the people. He said, “I will continue to perform my duties well and will continue to do that as my duties.”

He also said his work as a  lecturer  made him to be a man of many parts, for that some  people would view him from the side of his background, while others will see him as a human and humble inclinations. Yet to others, he is a man whose contributions have positively shaped the socio economic lives of the people.

One of the fundamentals of self-development that has influenced the life and career of Tajudeen is his love and desire for the people of Kaduna state. He has helped to develop a number of students and people even while he was working as a lecturer in the state, irrespective of ethnic and religious backgrounds.

He also possesses the needed exposure, intellectual capability and goodwill to make a difference in terms of developmental strides to the people of the state. Above all, he is someone with a milk of human kindness towards the down trodden. He is no doubt an asset that can be presented to the people in order to enhance   the socio-economic development and well-being of the state and the country in general.

He has committed his time, energy and resources in uplifting mankind. This is consequence of his large heart and his being very generous, hardworking, highly destabilized honesty, dependable, unassuming and accessible. Is it also fallout of his humility, compassion, simplicity, love of humanity, deep respect for people’s religious belief and godliness that lead to his success?

Little wonder, within his stay at national assembly he has created a gap and made a difference for the number of times he has stayed in the House of Representatives.

Though seen by many as a natural material for politics, his ambition is to be able to make a difference and to add value to people’s lives.

The new Iyan of Zazzau has made a difference in both politics and lecturing career which can be seeing all over him and  both young and old are yearning and calling on him to continue with his good works.
