Newly elected Rep member executes N92m under one month

The newly elected member of the House of Representatives representing Babura\Garki federal constituency of Jigawa state, Hon Musa Adamu Fagen Gaawo, has executed solar powered projects worth over N92million in his constituency.

Fagen Gawao, who was elected on the 17th of March, and sworn in on the 20th ,March, 2020,  has electrified six towns and villages in Babura and Garki local government  areas which constituted his Constituency

The benefiting towns and villages include,  Kore  Rafin Marke, Fagen Gawao, all in Garki local government, others are Tkwas, Garin Rakumi, Tsnagiya  in Babura local government area as well as three Tsangaya schools  also in Garki area council respectively.

He said the benefiting places were provided solar powered light, boreholes, and electricity supply to them in an effort to improve their social-well being.

 Hon Adamu made this known while inspecting the projects at his home town, Fagen Gawo, over the weekend.

He disclosed that the gesture was part of the promises he made to the people of the constituency during electioneering campaign prior to his election on the 17th March, 2020.

 The lawmaker, who disclosed that though the constitutional responsibilities of the legislature, are to make laws, but to him they were beyond, stressing that he felt a duty to execute meaningful projects that can boost socio-economic development of his people.

 He mentioned that he did the projects to justify election into the National Assembly saying that he will continue from where his late father Hon Adamu Muhammad Fagen stopped.

 Hon Fagen Gawo promised to continue to providing  the dividends of democracy  to his constituency  pledging that he will not failed  them and appealed to his people to consistently pray for the country so that God Almighty will bail Nigeria out of the coronavirus pandemic.

It will be recalled that his father Hon Adamu Muhammad FAGEN Gawo died on the 31first of December,2019, while his son was elected to replace him at the National Assembly.
