Neymar has become the subject of potentially the most expensive transfer in football history, but the striker’s cares seem to be elsewhere. Th e Barcelona forward was pictured partying on a boat with his friends off the shore of the Spanish island of Ibiza. Th e Brazilian was in a relaxed and playful mood, signalling and waving to the shore as he sat on the deck. Neymar then decided to cool off in spectacular fashion, by bombing off the side of the boat into the Mediterranean Sea.
Th e striker was making a splash in the water, just as Paris Saint Germain were making a potential tsunami in the transfer market. Th e French club are ready to pay Neymar’s £195million release clause at the Nou Camp, according to several reports in Spain. It is reported that Neymar would be tempted by a £26.5million-a-year contract until 2022, and it is claimed midfi elder Marco Verratti – a target of Barca – could be brought into consideration over any deal
