NFF technical body meets over S/Eagles, Flamingoes today

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) technical and development committee will meet today to deliberate on the Super Eagles’ preparation for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and review the just concluded African Nations Championship (CHAN) where the coach Stephen Keshi-tutored side bagged a bronze medal over Zimbabwe in the third place match.
This was disclosed to Blueprint Sport by a member of the committee, Paul Bassey, who noted that issues affecting other national teams would also be discussed at the meeting.

He stated  that the  committee would  focus more on the forthcoming FIFA World Cup programme, the United States camping site, friendly matches lined up for the team, insight into the 40-man Super Eagles list among others logistics things that might  be affecting the team.
Our correspondent also gathered that Keshi is expected to submit his CHAN technical report to the committee for proper evaluation and review of the performance of the home-based Super Eagles in South Africa.

”The NFF technical Committee will be meeting today to discuss the preparations of the senior national team for the World Cup Finals. We are going to have a look at our preparations, camping site, friendly matches and every other issues affecting the Eagles preparations will also be discussed’’
Also the technical committee will also deliberate on the progress of the female U-17 national team, the Flamingoes, who are warming up for the FIFA World Cup Finals in Costa Rica next month and the U-20 female team, the Falconets they are expected to submit and defend their World Cup programme,” he said.
