NFF, UEFA, Chelsea celebrate Ex-Super Eagles star Moses @ 29

The Nigeria Football Federation, Europe’s football governing body UEFA and Chelsea have sent birthday wishes to former Nigeria international Victor Moses who turns 29 on Thursday.

Celebrating Moses on their verified Twitter handle, the NFF recalled Moses’ 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winning feat with the Eagles.

 “Happy birthday to #Afcon2013 winner, @VictorMoses,” the NFF wrote.

UEFA recollects that Moses was a Europa League winner while at Chelsea.

“Happy birthday, 2013 winner Victor Moses!” UEFA wrote on their Europa League Twitter handle.

While Chelsea wrote: “Happy birthday, @VictorMoses!”

Moses made his Super Eagles debut in 2012 and retired from the national team in 2018 after making 38 appearances and scoring 12 goals.

He represented Nigeria at two FIFA World Cups in Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018 and scored in the later, in the 2-1 defeat to Argentina.

In 2012 Moses joined Chelsea in 2012 and went on to win the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League.

He is currently on loan to Fenerbahce from Chelsea and has made seven appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
