NGO commends FCT minister

Hope Arewa Development Initiative (HADI), a non-governmental organisation (NGO) whose programme clusters include infrastructure, entrepreneurial development and economic, political and corporate governance amongst other development programmes in the North and the country at large, has given kudos to the FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed.

Recognising the minister “for his sterling leadership qualities during the group’s Arewa Inspirational Leadership Award Forum,” its Secretary, Alhaji Musa Wada, described him as “a man of values whose visionary leadership and life-changing values produce inspiration beyond the FCT.”
According to Wada, the minister is “first with the new” in reference to his unprecedented land-swap policy in the territory.

Wada said: “Ordinarily, he could have conveniently abandoned the projects and initiate new ones of his own for self aggrandisement, but not Senator Bala. For him, the overreaching concern is his duty and obligation in ensuring effective and efficient service delivery in FCT.”

He added: “Bala is a high potential personality who is ever true to his words, pragmatic and exceptionally loyal to the cause of his people. And because he is good, zealous, practical and strategic in thoughts and actions, he represents for us an inspiration. His constructive and eminently positive attitude to work and socio-political issues makes him a testament to the desirable quality of our leadership.”
