Modibbo Haruna Buhari Charity Organisation (BCO), a non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in Abuja, has advised Nigerians to shun money bag politicians during the 2019 general elections for the interest of national development.
Chairman of the Board of Trustee (BOT) of the organisation, Mr. Modibo Sulaiman gave the advice yesterday while speaking with newsmen in Masaka, Karu local government area of Nasarawa state.
He also called on Nigerians to remain firm with the President Muhammadu Buhari administration beyond 2019 to enable him to succeed in the delivery of the much- needed dividends of democracy to the electorate.
Sulaiman also predicted that President Buhari “will get overwhelming support of Nigerians in 2019,” adding that Nigerian masses “will not be happy if Buhari did not run in 2019.”
“What Nigerians are supposed to do is to continue to support and pray for the president to succeed beyond 2019 and not to be deterred by the defection of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar,’ he said, and advised Buhari to remain focused and committed to developing the country.
According to him, “Sustained prayers by the adherents of the two major religions in the country will definitely assist the president and other leaders to overcome the challenges facing the country.
He restated the commitment of the organisation to initiate peace building projects, as well as to key in to projects that had direct bearing on the lives of Nigerians for the overall development of the country.
