Nicki Minaj slams ‘hate train’ for incorrect reports

The “Chun-Li” rapper wrote, “So to clarify; because I realize common sense is far from common… I haven’t CANCELLED anything. I reversed the order of the US & EUROPEAN LEGS of my tour.
This is for obvious reasons to anyone with a brain.
My album was originally going to drop in June which would’ve given me 3 months of tour rehearsal.
However, I was still writing & recording up to last week.
We are all grown right? We can all do math right? Or will they just pretend to not have basic sense so that they can board the Nicki Hate train & get some clicks?” It wouldn’t be the first time Minaj went after a writer: She was accused of getting a Karen Civil intern fired last month after sending the intern a series of hateful messages and siccing her Barbz on the writer.
The “Nicki Hate Train” is a victim narrative Minaj has been leaning into for months, beginning with her feud with Cardi B.
She also referenced the Nicki Hate Train on her latest episode of Queen Radio on Apple Music, claiming that it was responsible for her not being able to perform with convicted sex offender Tekashi 6ix9ine at the VMAs on Monday.
“I can’t rehearse 4 WEEKS for a tour I originally planned on rehearsing 3 months for.
I give my fans QUALITY.
I write & co produce my own music.
Therefore, I can’t rehearse while I’m WRITING & RECORDING my album.
My true fans understand & know that I will deliver an extraordinary US TOUR which begins in MAY just like I delivered an extraordinary album entitled #Queen,” she continued.
“My European fans get the SAME EXACT DATES they’ve always had.
Australian fans SAME EXACT DATES they had.
Cancelled what? Where? The narrative they are trying to create is disgusting.” A Live Nation source previously told Page Six, “Nicki’s tour ticket sales were not just in the toilet, they were totally down the drain.
There was no way the tour could go forward.” Minaj, however, insisted in a Twitter video, “Future and I will now start the European leg of our tour first, so those dates will stay exactly the same and the U.S.
leg of the tour will now start in May … Because of that, with Future’s schedule, I may have to take another co-headliner or I may just do it like I did the Pinkprint tour and it wouldn’t be, like, a co-headline.
I probably will just have three or four opening acts.” Ticket sales combined with disappointing sales figures for “Queen” (which she blamed on Kylie Jenner promoting Travis Scott‘s “Astroworld”) reportedly miffed Minaj.
An industry source said, “Nicki has gone off the rails.
She can’t take it that she sold less records than Cardi B (who’s stealing her thunder big time) in her first week; she can’t take it that Travis beat her to No. 1.
Her ticket sales for her tour were in the toilet, and it’s making her even more crazy.” Perhaps Page Six’s report is why Minaj added in her rant, “There’s another publication I’m giving CSOTD award to.
I won’t tell you who.
It’s a surprise.
