Niger PDM commences mobilisation of members

 

The Niger state Chapter of the People’s Democratic Movement (PDM) said it has commenced mass mobilization of Nigerians across the zones in the state, and that the party is set to chart a new course for Nigeria.
Speaking in Minna, when the party held its caucus and elders meeting yesterday, the party state chairman, Engineer Abubakar Abdullahi Gwada, said the PDM has discussed extensively on the need to chart a new cause for the party in order to face head-on, the daunting challenges regarding the 2019 General Elections.
He said it was part of charting a new course for the party and for Nigerians, that the party recently inaugurated its National Advisory Council (NAC) in Abuja.
According to Gwada, who also is the party’s NAC Secretary, the PDM has a new deal with Nigeria and Nigerians, and have learned humility by accommodating members from all ethnic and religious divide.
The chairman announced that new party membership registration for the Niger State chapter of the party had started in earnest in all the three geopolitical zones.
He explained that the exercise is also going on in the local government areas and wards respectively, adding the party is urging all patriotic men, women and youths in the state to join the party, so that they can together get rid of bad governance in the state and in the country.
“It is possible to regain the lost glory of our dear state because PDM had learned from the mistakes of the failed party, the PDP, and the failing party, the APC, the PDM chairman added.
