Head of Mission, Ambassador Shimon Ben-Shoshan of Israel has said the people of Nigeria and the country are visionaries and entrepreneurs.
“Well, I have already unveiled that the land of Nigeria is blessed and the people are blessed with many visionaries and entrepreneurs. Amongst them are some of the unique artists I have ever met.”
He made this statement at the kick- off of the 2nd National Old Testament Bible Contest with the theme ‘unveiling the treasures of the land’, organised by the Embassy of Israel in Nigeria in collaboration with Christians United for Israel (CUFI), on the 2nd of July, 2019.
He further said, “As you all know, the Jewish people were blessed by receiving the Bible and have studied it for centuries, day and night. The study of the Bible, brothers and sisters, is the unveiled secret of our culture of innovation nowadays. This is the very essence of the state of Israel and how it succeeded in turning challenges into opportunities,” he added.
The just concluded 2nd stage consisted of 74 top scorers who competed at 6 different locations according to their geo-political zones, where the top 12 scorers will proceed to compete at the grand finale, which will take place in Abuja on the 27th November, 2019.
