“Nigeria: Even this turmoil shall be conquered”

ĻAs optimistic and promising as this may sound and try to convince all and sundry, yet the distance between this present heart-rending, terrible condition of national affairs and when or where we can breath the air of relief is the same gap linking the hills with the mountains. Or between dreams and reality. Apparently, there are voids and the valleys separating the edge of a cliff or precipice and the steep of a plateau. Yes, problems and perils are seemingly programed to occur in this awesome life time, but the inherent capacity to withstand them as they emerge piecemeal lie embedded within us humans the inhabitants of this current planet earth. But it is not such a rosy ride as it may seem to the simple minded life pilgrims; the rigorous and rumbustious process it occasions can consume those who are not adequately prepared to confront the vagaries of this life. Similarly, dreams do not ordinarily translate to their fulfillments without a deliberate efforts by the dreamer to work things out, accordingly. Truly, the Nigeria version of troubles baffles. It’s unsettling, mind-boggling, traumatizing, disorganizing, hopeless, morbid, irrational, disorderly, rudderles and if you don’t mind, godless. Just anything outrageous and outlandish.

Nigeria has descended to a ridiculous and savagely status where only brutes rule over the largely hypnotized masses and a few rational but incapacitated or incarcerated intellectuals. Imagine a nation where the president security apparatus was threatened to be attacked and events unfolding indicate this may not be a frivolous fleeting words. Have you been able to fathom a scenario where the crass indifference of the nation’s president to the hues and cries of the populace touching insecurity and biting economic crisis in the land, may now be driven to his skull evidently by threat to and perhaps actually kidnapping him and his accomplice state governor. Just think about it! Nigeria bleeds furiously! She is now lesser than a pariah nation in the comity of the international assembly or global community nations.

Her problems are enormous and embarrassing, too. It makes no sense dwelling on the list of the pitiable country’s troubles; they are as open as the sky and remarkable as the written words. The government handlers have continued to trade blames until there is no one else they can push the deserving faults to. What should count instead now is the proffering of workable solutions, and particularly searching out and finding that credible and competent candidates as human instruments who is certainly eligible for this onerous national rescue mission. Upon his staunch and reliable shoulders and reposing confidence on the determined concerned citizens who will not take no for an answer, matching words with actions, steps out gallantly and resolutely and recapture our ‘dying’ nation Nigeria at the hands of her stubborn traducers, fifth columnists and detractors.

History is generous with enviable examples of perhaps nations that have undergone similar or worse situations as we are currently entrapped in Nigeria. Even this foregoing testimonial may not as urgently be called for to provide us the instant respite and direction Nigeria need forthwith and cannot afford to neglect. Rather, it is employed here to encourage us that the fight ahead of us is a good fight with fortuitous predictions on our side. Be that as it may, countries such as Singapore, China, Japan, Egypt, Vietnam, have all had more serious and intractable national conditions, yet owing to a few tenacious nationals among them who swore with their lives to enter the lions den, snatch their kidnapped baby nations from the grip of their diehard, unscrupulous political elements whose aim was to destroy their only precious country, and the heavens mighty forces could not deny them superior support to achieve their passion. Likewise we here in Nigeria this perilous season. The institutionalization of proper political leadership in Nigeria that will catapult us to the worthwhile position we deserve and where life truly destined us, is now hopefully incipient, almost imperceptible. The eagles are gathering.

The armory, not of bloody physical warfare, but of a necessary national political issue based intense debating and deliberations, are being set in motion. The convergence of critical ideological masterpiece tailored to disengage our country from the backward trends and reposition us structurally for practical progressive patterns and practices, is prevailing. And the good news is that no jupiter can stop this revolutionary movement. It is not known to man the conspiracy and connivance of cowardly forces convincing enough to stall this moving train like, swiftly consuming fire like a determined and desperate populace focused to win. More than ever, the question about our national cohesiveness and cohabitation is not just at the front burner of our national discourse presently but increasingly suffocating and precarious. Nigeria is not the only nation consisting of multi ethnic and cultural groups; the USA and Great Britain are largely heterogeneous entities.

The gladdening news is that the foreign policy machinery of the western imperial countries particularly the United States of America and Britain known as Foreign Imposed Regime Change (FIRC) steadfastly favours this breed of radical political movement herein referred. It will shock you to be exposed to the secret talks and protocols going on behind the red curtains. You will equally marvel to be properly educated about the predestined rewards of those troubling this innocent Nigeria nation and her good people. The covert programs and projections alongside the preparations for the upcoming general election are not pathological to Nigeria and bonafide Nigerians but indeed benign and wholesome. To the best of my knowledge, those who are with us are more than them who are against us.

Let us hope that those miscreants and mischievous folks today who make haste to roll out the drums in jubilation over our mighty army of patriotic nationals do outlive this coming election season to tell their regretful stories. As my personal inclination posits, I am not one of those who believe in tit for tat, eye for an eye and tooth for tooth, for the very obvious reason that if this injunction is flatly enforced worldwide, sooner than later we will have a world predominantly habited by one eyed, one legged or generally disfigured people. This is due to the fact that the man’s adamic nature of weakness and helplessness to commit offense will always drive us accordingly, willy nilly. ‘Oh wretched man that I am…’ lamented Saint Paul the Apostle in his epistle to the Romans chapter 7 verse 24a. He confessed that, although he ends up doing those things he would not, but he discovers that there is ‘a law’ within his body members compelling him to do those things contrary to his will.

We the compatriots and creative citizens wish Nigeria well. She will not collapse. She will not crumble. We will not falter, either in doing our best. Nigeria will rise to greater heights where the latent potentials, rich natural and awesome human resources of her people can naturally project and qualifies them. The fast approaching general elections provides enough starting grounds irrespective of the threatenings to the contrary. The entire 8 latitude years maximally open to the Obidient Yusful movement is largely insufficient to repair the gamut of damage but substantial and significant enough to scratch the surface, and kickstart a process that will endure time and demystify antagonists. Let all of us mount the bandwagon and que not behind the dark horse presidential candidates who will go nowhere come general elections 2023 in Nigeria.

So help us God. Amen and Amen.
