Nigeria in water crisis- Bayewun

A non-governmental , Global Rights has called on the Nigerian to take proactive measures in addressing water crisis faced by her citizens.

The country director Global Right, Ms. Abiodun Bayeiwu, said “a lot of are facing lack of good water, contaminations affecting water in and we need our to treat these issues as a matter of emergency to avoid further disaster as it may occur in the nearest future.”

Bayeiwu disclosed this at a press briefing in recently.

 “Nigerian must govern the way we use and manage our water ”, she said.

She urged citizens to be more responsible to their needs and demands to know what the politicians are doing to improve their lives and must begin to hold them accountable.

“We need to treat water as the most important natural   and putting the spot light on water and begin to see and see taking action and be energy smart and water smart,” she said.
