Nigeria sliding into disrepute – Secondus

Abuja

The People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) has said Nigeria is sliding into a terrible nation and its party is ready to take over from a failed federal government, led by a failed All Progressives Congress, (APC).
The PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, said this during the party’s Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting yesterday at the party’s secretariat, in Abuja.
“The National Working Committee, (NWC) has resolved to stand firm and strong to work 24 hours to rescue the nation from the hands of vengeance called APC.
“Today, Nigeria is in crisis, we are at a crossroad. We require commitment and passion to safe Nigeria because our country is sliding into a terrible state and if will failed to raise up there will be great consequences.
“We are aware that the attitude of the federal government, especially the INEC and the security agencies are not friendly to Nigerians, not to talk about being friendly to PDP”, he said.
He challenged the BoT members to endeavour to fraternise with their constituents down to the ward levels and noted that the reward system has changed: “Unless you deliver your ward and constituency you may not be recognized, what matter most is the number of votes’.
Earlier the chairman of the BoT, Senator Wali Jibril, urged members of the party to accept the will of God and urged them to support the Prince Uche Secondus-led NWC to regain power from the APC in the forthcoming election.
