Gawuna who is also the Deputy Governor of Kano State,appealed to Nigerians to join hands with our various leaders in the country to build a formidable nation despite what he called the setback occasioned by challenging Economic downturn
YSFON appealed to Nigerian Youths to be patient in life, embrace hard work and shun all forms of criminal tendencies and anti social behaviours that will affect their future and our country
The nation’s foremost grassroots sports organising body says the youths are very critical to nation’s building and must be given their rightful place in national discourse. It insists that adequate support and regular counselling should be given to them in their choice of future career to enable them contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development
National Secretary of YSFON Chief Patrick Okpavhuere in his reaction observed that despite the challenges,sports still remain a veritable tool to gainfully employ and engage the Nigerian Youths.He therefore called on the Government and Corporate Organisations to create attractive opportunities for the youths to exhibit their talents and make a meaningful living
The secretary laments the unfortunate trends in our national lives today where the Nigerian Youths have been relegated to the background and very old people refuse to give way or allow the Youth to function accordingly.This he says is dangerous for National growth and progress
YSFON however believes that no matter how discouraging things are today ,there is still hope and in the face of despair there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
