Nigerian academy to hold 1st scientific conference in Lagos

The Nigerian Academy of Science (NAS) has scheduled 4th and 5th of February  to hold its first scientific conference.

The conference will discuss how science can facilitate the of Goals (SDGs).

NAS executive secretary, Dr M. Oladoyin Odubanjo, said in a statement made available to  Monday that about 300 scientists will be gathere at the Multipurpose Hall, University of , for the conference themed ‘The Role of Science in Attaining the Goals (SDGs)’.

The conference will showcase original scientific and discoveries, disseminate scientific concerning issues of national relevance, create a platform to discuss scientific issues of societal significance, and foster networking and collaboration among Nigerian scientists towards better and innovation.
