Nigerian military has always defended its citizens, says CISA

A non –governmental organisation Citizen Initiative for Security Awareness (CISA) has said that the Nigerian military has always rose in defence of the people adding that many personnel have paid supreme in the process of defending Nigeria.
CISA stated this when its  paid a solidarity visit on the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh at the Defence Headquarter in Abuja.

“ when the blood thirsty Boko Haram terrorist group began its brutal violent campaign against innocent Nigerians,  the Nigerian Armed Forces gallantly rose in defence of the people. Their gallantly, as we sadly note, has not been without a huge: a number of soldiers have paid the supreme price, many others have lost their limbs or have been maimed for life.”
The National Coordinator of the organisation, Chidi Omoje said they represent ordinary Nigerians noted that there is no institution there binds Nigerians like the military.

“Our military fought to keep us together and has always been there to defend our dear country from external aggression and internal insurrection. Our Armed forces have promoted  world peace and brought global respect and admiration  to our country through its excellent participation in peace keeping operations in various nations of the world.”
Omoje who said that its  organisation would not be a party to unwarranted vilification and disparagement of the military appealed to the  CDS to look into issues that might brew discontent within the ranks.
