Nigerian refs off to Libya, Togo & Ghana

After two sets of referees from Nigeria had seen action in the last round of CAF Inter Clubs matches, two other sets have been appointed this time around, in addition to the women’s quartet that is Ghana-bound for an African Women Championship qualifier.

Also on duty is NFF vice president, Chief Mike Umeh, who will be match commissioner in the Confederation Cup encounter between Ghana’s Medeama and Magreb Association Sportive de Fes in Ghana.

Chief Umeh, member of CAF inter clubs committee will superintend over referees from Niger Republic.
The quartet of Abubakar Ago, Peter Edibi, Abel Baba and Henry Ogunyamodi will be on duty in Tripoli next weekend when Ali Benghazi host Berekum Chelsea in the return leg of their CAF Champions League encounter.

In Togo this weekend, Joshua Opeyemi Amao will file out with Samuel Pwadulakem, Tunde Abidoye and Benjamin Ekabatiem in the Confederation Cup match between A.S Douane of Lome and Wadi Degla of Egypt.

Nigerian women referees are also on duty, this weekend, this time in Ghana where they will oversee referee qualifying match for the 9th  African Women Championship, Namibia 2014, between Ghana and Burkina Faso.
Ajayi Foluso is the designated handle to be assisted by Bosede Momoh and Nkwocha Hulda. The fourth referee is Hadiza Musa.
