Nigerians will reject Buhari, APC in 2019 – Bafarawa

People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant and former governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa, has predicted that Nigerians will reject the All Progressive Congress (APC) government led by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 as they rejected former President, Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.
The aspirant, who alleged that the APC-led federal administration has failed Nigerians as it has not fulfilled its campaign promises almost four years after, said it was high time Nigerians voted out incompetence.
Bafarawa, who was in Kaduna yesterday to solicit support of delegates for his ambition at the party’s forthcoming presidential primaries, said the power of incumbent no longer has a place in Nigerian politics today, stressing, “Any government that fails to perform will be kicked out by the electorate.
He said that unlike the APC, the PDP would not look back but will be positioned to move the country forward when it takes over power in 2019.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna state PDP chairman, Mr.
Felix Hassan Hyet, praised him for joining the race noting his record of achievements qualifies him for the job.
He described him as a straightforward individual whose yes is yes and no is no, adding Nigeria needs an upright leader to lead the country to prosperity.
He described the presidential aspirant as a household name in Nigeria, who is known to be unbiased, adding, “We in Kaduna believe that whoever wins will be good to us.
