It’s no longer news that brilliant Nollywood actress Nkeiruka Silvanus has now gotten a new appointment in Imo state government as the Director General of The Imo State Film Academy.
This appointment is came following plans by the Imo Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha to set up a befitting Film Academy in Owerri which is hope to be beneficial not only to Imo state Indigene but Nigerians at large.
November 14, 2014 has now been picked for the official opening of the academy and the event is expected to attract many masters of the arts including top government functionary.
Ms Sylvanus was the SA Lagos Affairs, then SA Public Affairs to the Imo state government, and she’ll be expected to use her wealth of experience movie giant to bring a transformation to the state’s movie industry.
