NLO chief, 7 clubs off to London on official assignment


In furtherance of its desire towards developing and exposing Nigeria Nationwide league side to the real business of football in its entirety ,the Chief Operation Officer of NLO, Shola Ogunnowo will on Tuesday leads others out of the shore of the country to London to understudy how the third tier league can improve tremendously like in other climes.
The seven clubs are Gidado Fc of Kwara, Right 2 Win Fc Abia ,Flomat fc of Abuja ,Gbagada Fc of Lagos, Giant Brillar Fc of Enugu, Jossy fc Lagos and Nilayo Fc of Ogun state.


Blueprint Sports learnt that teams like Fehinty Fc of Osun, Vandrezzer Fc of Akwa-Ibom and Jossy Fc of Lagos will join the list of eminent sides for the programme from their various bases in Europe and America.
As part of their itinerary in London, there are to tour Sheffield United Ground on Wednesday ,February 26th and watch their U-18 training session.


They will be in Mansfield on Thursday to watch their U-18 side training session.
While in London, they are expected to be the guest of the English FA as they are slated to watch the Carabao Cup final on March 1 and two days later they are expected back home.


Elated Chief Operating Officer, Shola Ogunnowo told our correspondent that ‘ this is a big plus for the NLO. I’m hundred per cent sure that we are going places and repositioning the league. The ripples effect of the trip will definitely rub on all the clubs in the NLO.
