The National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) has said it is working with the full support of President Muhammadu Buhari and Minister of Special Duties & Inter- Governmental Affairs Senator George Akume for timely delivery of good governance.
The Executive Secretary of National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF), Dr. Bello Maigari disclosed this during the commissioning and handover of vital medical equipment to New-Karu primary healthcare clinic in Nasarawa state.
Dr. Maigari said 34 medical equipment will be
commissioned and handed over to the clinic as part of their support to the health sector in karu local government area council of Nasarawa state and Nigeria at large.
“This action shows the level of cooperation
between the three tiers of the government in Nigeria under this
administration,” he said.
He also disclosed that five states have benefited from similar support.
The benifiting states so far include Kebbi, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Cross River and Katsina states.
The Executive Secretary advised concern authority to make use of the equipment and show the spirit of
ownership in maintaining them.
He also promised extend same gesture to all the 36 states across Nigeria.
Dr. Maigari informed that already over 40 sets of the medical
equipment are on ground for commissioning and handover in other states.
The occasion was graced by many dignitaries, who appreciated the NLTF under the leadership of Dr. Bello Maigari.
They also encouraged the agency to do more for the good people of Nigeria, while enjoying the management of New-Karu primary healthcare clinic to use the equipment professionally and maintain them properly.
