Nnamdi Kanu: Imo residents in jubilation mood over Appeal Court release order

Thursday’s Court of Appeal judgement which set free the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has sent Imo state residents into wild jubilation.

Not many people in the state knew that the IPOB leader would be going to court on Thursday, but when the news broke, it spread like wild fire and people started jubilating.

Blueprint correspondent who went into the streets, gathered that apart from gatherings of people who stood in clusters discussing the development, people were seen in moving cars, buses and motorcycles shouting “Kanu is free at last”, “No more Sit-at-home”, “The hero is free”.
