For his role in the weekend incident, Adeleye has been suspended from attending his clubs’s three matches, while DSS will have to play their three home games behind the closed doors just as the club has been given 48 hours to return all items including monies taken away from the match officials.

Also, DSS will pay a fine of N200, 000 in accordance with article 6.0 (1) rules of the game even as it has been ordered to fish out the supporters who participated in the physical assault on the referees, while the club and Kaduna state Football Association has been warned and asked to ensure the safety of fans and properties in Kaduna.
The statement issued by the NNL secretariat in Abuja and signed by the secretary, Lawrence Katkem, disclosed that the league board  has on the receipt of the reports on the weekend’s match handed down series of punishments to DSS for bringing the game to disrepute.

The statement further said that the center referee was beaten to coma by the mob led by Adeleye, while his assistants were also not spared as they were also locked up in the police cell and their valuable items taken away from them including large sums of money, match forms and caution cards among others.
