NNPP already gaining ground – Kwankwaso

The National Leader and presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has disclosed that the party was already gaining ground.

Dr Kwankwaso said this while receiving the executives committee and the gubernatorial candidate of the NNPP in Ogun state, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, whole paid him a courtesy visit on Monday after the inauguration of the Kano state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.

He stressed that as the party is already gaining ground, there is the need for the feat to be spread across the country particularly in Ogun state, where their governorship candidate, Ajadi has made a name for himself through his philanthropic gesture.

Dr Kwankwaso urged the NNPP newly appointed Caretaker Executive Committee in Ogun state to bring back those that have left the party, stressing that the Prince Ibrahim Adekunle led Caretaker Committee members should return back home to spread out the party’s tentacles from the wards to local governments and the state whole.

Stressing further that the caretaker committee members should go into action by not looking back in their quest to bring back those that have left the party as well ensuring to bring in new members into the party in Ogun state, the NNPP National leader pointed out that by having a governor, members of National and State Assemblies in Kano state, the party is already gaining ground and the feat should be spread across the country.

A Board of Trustees (BOT) member of the party, Buba Galadima, during a visit on him by the Ogun NNPP Caretaker Executive Committee tasked them to ensure that they brought those that have left the party back due to mismanagement of the expelled former party chairman, Sunday Olaposi Oginni.

Emphasising that by doing this together with other party chieftains in the state, they would be able to build a formidable party ahead of the next election, the  NNPP BOT member charged the Caretaker Committee to continue to wax stronger in the state.

He said they should not to allow the political challenge to affect their sagacity and complement the feat they achieved in 2023 elections though solidify and unifying the party in The state so that by the next election NNPP will be party to reckon with and party to contend with.
