It is no exaggeration that governor Abdullah Umar Ganduje’s score card is that of nobility going by his actual work as evident in all sectors of Kano state. Three and half years must have been seen as a wink of the eyes, especially for those whose minds are not closed by the devil whose action is to misdirect and misconceive every good action. Practical application has demonstrated the best is being done by the noble explorer of our time, governor Ganduje within few years of the inception of his nice administration.
Politics apart, Philosopher Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Kano state governor of repute, has done and is still doing a lot to improve the entire Kano state. Really, Kano state is one of the most populated and politically progressive states in the federation. This is no exaggeration considering that figures like late Alhaji Aminu Kano, late Alhaji Inuwa Wada, Alhaji Sule Gaya, late Alhaji Yusuf Maitama Sule, and a host of others, were born and bred in this very centre of attraction; economically, socially, religiously and politically.
Consequently, Kano must be a very difficult state to control. Notwithstanding, philosopher (dr.) Ganduje is governing the state with kindness, wisdom, and humility. Kano state people are really behind Ganduje for his humility. In spite of his serious duty of state, he normally interacts with the ordinary people, attending bridal, naming ceremonies and funerals. This he has been doing till date. He is one of the few governors that enjoy fraternal-warmly greetings wherever he goes.
I am not being a sycophant, for sycophancy is a word for cowards and I am not that type, hence I say what I know is the truth. Governor Ganduje has done his best and the people of the state are looking forward to seeing other projects completed within the shortest time possible. You can see that nakedly, he completed most of the abandoned projects left by his predecessors, especially Ibrahim Shekarau (2003–2011) and Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso (1999–2003/2011–2015).
So, why should we not support the good works by this simple governor whose popularity is mounting by the day? The time is now to rally round the Kano state governor and further encourage him to do more for the people.
