No bandits, Chinese inmates in Jigawa- Governor

Jigawa state government may take honourable Sani Mohammed Zoro to court over comments credited to him that Chinese inmate are working in Nigeria.

The state government has further frowned at Zoro’s statement that bandits had gained entry into the state and had already started attacking, killing and maiming innocent people in the rural areas.

Zoro , is a member representing Gumel/Gagarawa/Sule-tankarkar and Maigatari federal constituency at the National Assembly.

Reacting to the comments, the acting governor, Barrister Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia told reporters in Dutse that the accusations and claims by the law maker is baseless and empty and is capable of throwing the state into trauma.

Saying, it is wrong to relate what is happening in Zamfara state with the two arm robbery incidences that occurred in Jigawa state where only two people killed.

The Deputy Governor also denied the lawmaker’s accusation against th‎e Lee group that the company has brought inmate from china to working on the farm.
