Northern leaders urged to be focused

President, Northern Youth Consultative Forum (NYCF), Aminu Mohammed, has charged Northern leaders to remain focused and united in order to face the challenges facing the region and the nation.

Speaking after the election of new officials of the Forum in Kaduna, Mohammed said the call became necessary “at this time in the history of the country and the incoming 2015 elections.”

The Forum elected Chief Bata Madaki Auta, Wakilin Shehun Borno, as the grand patron, while Malam Ishaku Garba, Mattawallin Dass, emerged as chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT) and Alhaji Mustapha Mohammed and Jaafaru Lawal clinched the post of deputy chairman and secretary, respectively.

Other officials were Barrister Solomon Dulong, legal adviser, Alhaji Shehu Sarki Aminu D Mohammed, Comrade Aminu Dashed,

Alhaji Abdulganiyu Zubairu, and Barrister Asmau Mustapha.

In his acceptance speech, the chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT), Ishiaka Garba, promised to carry everyone along in the affairs of the Forum and solicited for support of members.
