Northwest varsity to partner govt on education

The management of Northwest University, Kano, has pledged to cooperate with the federal government to promote the growth and development of the country’s education sector.

Vice-chancellor of the Northwest University, Prof. Dato Mohammed Razali Agus, who made the disclosure at the weekend in Abuja while leading his team on a courtesy call on the Supervising Minister of Education, Barrister Nyeso Wike, said the university could contribute in tackling the unemployment challenge through job attachments, training of personnel in education management, entering into other cooperation arrangement with government.

In his response, said: “If you have been following our town hall meetings, you will notice the volume of money invested into education. Our doors are open to cooperation from any quarter, to ensure that the quality of education in Nigeria can be enhanced.”
