Akwa United Captain, Otobong Effiong has expressed his excitement after hearing the news of the league return date as fixed by the LMC.
The league is slated to commence on the 6th of December and speaking with brila.net regarding that effect, the captain of Akwa United said he is happy with the development.
“It’s a good news to know the actual date the league is starting and we are in the pre – season tournament to prepare ourselves for the resumption of the league now, we have the date now and we have to put the team in order if we are coming out we should come out very strong in the league”, he said.
The league kicks off on December 6th and ends on the 4th of July 2021.
