NPFL: MFM director of football resigns

The director of football of Lagos-based side MFM Football Club, Dr Emmanuel Adeyemi has resigned.
In a mail sent to the authority of the club on his resignation he said “I decided to quit because I cannot work with Mr Alewi and I don’t want to die.
Please let him handle the club fully.” Below is a screenshot of the mail to the General Overseer of MFM ministries and owner of MFM FC, D.K Olukoya.
That said, we might not be seeing the end of this exit at the club with rumours of head coach Fidelis Ileckukwu wanting to leave also and considering the close working relationship between the two there is a 99% chance that Ilechukwu also resigns from his position as head coach of the club.
During his tenure at the club Dr Adeyemi led MFM FC to a second place finish which earned them their first continental appearance and also won three FA Cups with the club.
