Npower employment: FG announces payment of outstanding stipends to beneficiaries

The Federal Government is to commence backlog of stipends to batch C2 N-power beneficiaries.

The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs in a statement signed by it’s minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq on Monday apologised to the beneficiaries for the inconveniences, saying none of them will be owed any month.

According to the statement, “Regarding the payment of your stipends for the months of October, November and December 2022, please note that it is due to unavoidable and unforseen challenges, including technical processes and the end of fiscal year mopping up of funds that have resulted in the delay.

“However, I am pleased to inform you that significant progress has been made in addressing these issues, and funds will be released within the week. Be assured that all outstanding stipends for graduate and non-graduate beneficiaries will be paid shortly.

“Your plight, particularly in these trying times matters greatly and is well understood. We therefore urge you to continue serving our dear nation in your places of primary assignment, and in the case of non-graduates, be receiving your training, with calm understanding while we deploy all efforts to resolve this delay.”
