Nuhu Bamalli poly rewards 25 workers

The Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, in Kaduna state, has rewarded 25 of its workers for long and meritorious service to the school.
Speaking at the Long Service Award ceremony, the Rector, Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Shika, said the occasion was aimed at taking stock of the Institution activities within one year with view to making correction on lapses.

“We will strive harder to maintain and improve our successes; the occasion is, therefore, a moment of sharing among ourselves our score-card for necessary critical self appraisal,” he said.
Shika said during the under review the school would continue to pursue all its academic programmes without any hindrance.
He said the quality of the school’s graduates recently mobilised for the National Youths Corps Scheme (NYSC) was a testimony to the maintenance of the standard.

“It is in view of this we deemed it necessary to reward excellence staff who put in 20 years in the service of the polytechnic considered worthy of recognition.
“The purpose of the recognition is to demonstrate our appreciation for their contribution to the growth and development of polytechnic.”
He commended the Governor of Kaduna state and Visitor to the school, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, for his immense support to the school.
