The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Borno State Council has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration on Sunday.
The newly elected Chairman of the council, Comrade Bulama Talba, commended all who contributed to the success of the last NUJ state delegates’conference, which witnessed the emergence of new leadership of the union.
He also commended the Nigerian police. Military and other security operatives for the maintenance of law and order in the state.
The NUJ Chairman further, enjoined Muslims to use the sallah period to offer prayers for the restoration of peace to the state and also for the success of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum’s administration.
He equally prayed for the successful return Of the state’s pilgrims from the Holy land.
