NUJ president felicitates with member- mother of triplets

The National President of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Chris Ikechukwu Isiguzo has felicitated with a female member of the union from Abia state who was delivered of triplets Saturday morning.

Isiguzo made the commendation Sunday in Umuahia when he paid a solidarity visit to the member who works with the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia state.

Accompanied by the members of the union from Abia state, the National President, who commended the joyous member, Mrs Roseline Lawrence Ubani and the husband for safe delivery of two boys and one girl after 12 years of waiting on the Lord.

Comrade Isiguzo noted that he visited the couple to show concern, adding that something good has happened to NUJ, that she is one of us and that the Union will not abandon their own.

According to the National President, we have the capacity to take care of our own, this is great two boys and a girl, we must celebrate our own.

He pointed out that last year he was in Anambra state on a similar visit, when our member was blessed with the fruits of the womb for triplets as it is with BCA staff of Abia state.

He added that when we talk about welfare of members, we must make sure we are in the forefront to identify with any members of us reminding the couple of the importance of the visit where the National President and state leadership of NUJ Comrade John Emejor, including Correspondents Chapel chairman, Chief Sam Obinna Ibe and other officers and members accompanied for an unscheduled visit.

Speaking on the visit, the Chairman of NUJ, Abia state chapter, Comrade Kong Emejor expressed happiness on what God has done for the family, praying that God will bring with what they will take care of the babies.

He posited that on behalf of Abia NUJ, he wants to join the family for the good thing from God Almighty.

Meanwhile, the husband and joyous father of triplets said he was happy with the gifts of the womb after waiting patiently for 12 years of marriage.
