Numana community lauds El-Rufai on Etum Numana selection

 

The Numana ethnic group under the umbrella of Numana Community Development Organisation (NCDO) has commended Kaduna state governor, Mallam Nasir ElRufai, for the successful selection of the paramount ruler of Numana Chiefdom in Sanga local government area of the state.
NCDO, in a press statement by its National President, Mr. Sabo Gwamna and National Secretary, Mr. Mbachi Jonathan Adams, said the selection of the Etum Numana by the 14 kingmakers on March 10, 2018 in Gwantu, the Sanga local government headquarters, was very peaceful, hitch-free and without rancour.
It read in part: “Indeed, the deployment of sufficient personnel of the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies to provide adequate security by Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has, again demonstrated his love for our people.
“As a peace-loving people, our king-makers and the entire Numana people took advantage of the enabling environment provided by the Kaduna state government to ensure that the selection process was successful.
“We want to also recognise the tireless efforts and contributions of the Sole Administrator of Sanga local government area, Mr Abdulmumuni Yakubu Ashafa, for his role in the success of the entire process.
” According to NCDO, “During the selection process, Gen Iliya Yamma (retd), got seven votes; Adamu Isah Shamaki got five; Adamu Chiroma got one while one vote was invalid.
