NVBF invites 16 players to camp for CAVB Nations Cup

The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) on Friday invited 16 male players to camp in Kaduna in preparations for the 2019 Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) Zone III Nations Cup in Ghana.

According to a statement signed by the Chairman Media and Publicity Committee of NVBF, Kehinde Lamidi, the players and the technical crew are expected to resume camp in Kaduna on Saturday July 27th, 2019.

“The technical committee of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation has invited 16 male players to camp in Kaduna in preparations for the 2019 CAVB zone 3 nations cup in Ghana.

The players invited are: setters; Patrick Davou – (NCS, Stanley Manfred (UCEM). Middle; Philip Akande (NCS), Pascal Ozakoye (Plateau), Jeyeola Abdulqodri (Offa). Sides; John Solomon (Niger), Paul Ogulumba (Ondo), Michael Abari (Kano), Promise Abeki (Famous).

Other invited playets are: “Spikers; Abiye Amachree (NSCDC), Badmus Taiwo (Offa), Mamman Bello (Katsina). Opposite setters: Babalola Useni (Police), Samuel Augustine (NIS) and Liberos; Zakariya Sylvanus (Plateau), Previous Peter (NIS).

“The 2019 CAVB Zone 3 Nations Cup is scheduled to hold in Ghana between 1st and 9th of August, 2019,” the statement said.
