NWPL: Sunshine Queens ready to tackle Jokodolu Babes –Coach

Sunshine Queens FC of Akure say they are ready to win the match day two fixture of the Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) against Jokodolu Babes of Ogbomoso. Sunshine Queens Head Coach, Wemimo Mathew, told newsmen in Akure that her girls were fully motivated ahead of the encounter.
The match will be played on Wednesday at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Akure. Mathew, who described the visitors as a strong youthful side, urged her players not to underrate the girls. She said the match which she tagged a ‘must win’ would produce a lot of goals from his girls as preparations were in top gear. “Jokodolu Babes are new in the league but that doesn’t make them pushovers; my players are aware of the task ahead and will definitely deliver,” she said.
According to the coach, there is likelihood of rejigging her first 11 inspite of a convincing 4-1 home win recorded against Abia Angels in their first match in Akure. A win for Sunshine Queens will place the team comfortably on the number one position on the league table ahead of their next match away from home against Pelican Stars of Calabar. Goals from Patience Agbokhade, Vincent Precious, Lola Philips and Tina Oyatheleme sealed a 4-1 Victory for Sunshine Queens in their last match.(NAN)
