The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has named the newly built multi-Purpose hall at Kogi state NYSC secretariat in Lokoja after the late state coordinator, Oludolapo Omolara Ahile.

This was revealed in a statement signed by the director, Press and Public Relations, Mrs Adenike  Adeyemi, on Wednesday.

She said the Acting head of the secretariat, Mrs Leticia Nwokeke briefed the Director General (DG) Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim’s during his condolence visit to Lokoja.

Nwokeke stated that the entire staff of NYSC in the state unanimously agreed to name the edifice after Ahile because of her favourable human disposition without discrimination and this was immediately approved by the DG

Blueprint learnt that Mrs Ahile built the hall for multi-purpose use from internally generated revenue.

“Her patience, tolerance, motherhood and benevolence attracted many officers and staff to her. We have no doubt that Mrs Ahile’s impact will continue to be felt in the lives of millions of Corps Members that have passed through her supervision”, Nwokeke added.
