The inaugural edition of late Oba Ademola Ajakaiye memorial U-13 football competition kicks off Sunday, at various centres across the 16 local football councils in Ekiti state.
The competition being organized by Ekiti State football association and in conjunction with the family of the late monarch is equally supported by Ambassador Eniola Ajayi.
According to the Chairman of the organising committee, Qazeem Oladapo, the competition
is aimed at immortalising the good memories of the late monarch who was an ardent football lover.
“We want to keep the fond memories of late Oba Ademola Ajakaiye who was lover of youth and great football enthusiast. The U-13 competition would also help us discover more talents for our ever- growing pool of talented young lads, ” Oladapo, who is also Chairman of Ekiti state SWAN shapter stated.
