Ohandigbo youths celebrate Buhari at 75

A pro-Muhammadu Buhari youth organisation, Ohandigbo Youths Organisation (OYO) has rolled out drums in Abuja to celebrate the president who will be 75 years old on Sunday.

The group at a meeting held in Abuja on Saturday to fine tune various modalities in preparation to flag off a pro-Buhari national rally within the first quarter of 2018, dedicated a section to thank God for adding a year to President Muhammadu Buhari’s age.

Addressing the member of the group, its founder who is also a national officer in the ruling All Prigressives Congress (APC) Chief Nduka Anyanwu, expressed confidence that Nigerians will re-elect President Buhari come 2019.

While explaining why his group is persuading the president to contest, the APC chieftain said the Buhari led administration has: “dealt with the Boko Haram insurgency, initiated tangible projects across the country, revived Nigeria’s positive image from a corrupt stricken nation to one leading and setting the pace in the fight against corruption, reclaimed Nigeria’s economy from recession among many other numerous achievements.”

Anyanwu, however, expressed thanks to God for what he described as “miraculous healing of the president and sparing his life as demonstration to Nigerians that indeed Buhari came at the right time to put things right in this country.”

The Ohandigbo founder also revealed that he just returned from the United Kingdom where he met with various Nigerian groups on the need to key into the vision of president Buhari’s second term in office.
