Ohaneze Youth Council OYC Worldwide Sunday warned Southeast Governors of antics by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra on the proposed reconciliation committee between them and the governors.
They teemed the moves by IPOB to blackmailing the Governors with a kangaroo committee championed by NNAMDI Kanu’s lawyer.
The Igbo youth group disclosed this to journalists in Abakaliki through a press statement signed by Comrade Obinna Achionye,Deputy President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council World.
The statement captioned, “Don’t fall into blackmail!/and settlement strategies of IPOB ….. discard any kangaroo committee to interfaces reads,
“Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide angrily will expose all the commercial activities of IPOB,as they have done more damage to Ndigbo than they appear to salvage the situation igbos found themselves in 2015, irrespective that igbos were looking for political succour after 2015,IPOB wreaked down the old political order and erected their own family Dynasty through disorientation missiles and propaganda from Radio Biafra which was applauded by igbos but unfortunately IPOB had lost Igbo consciousness nowadays as they are doing the political bidding of politicians outside Igbo land as they did with a Northern Presidential Candidate in 2019, when Nnamdi Kanu declared few days before the 2019 Presidential election,” it’s done and Dusted” calling of the No referendum,No election slogan”.
“We observed that IPOB started losing popularity before the 2019 elections, when they destroyed their members Permanent Voters Cards, and plotted the fall of Governors Umahi, Ugwuanyi and Ikpeazu re election bids after was compromised by the opposition parties in various States,to uproot these Governors in the 2019 Guber election,after these Governors emerged victorious,they resorted to the old tricks of blackmail and settlement strategies. We Urge the Southeast Governors to disregard any kangaroo committee set up to interface between them and IPOB, there’s no reason for backyard settlement except IPOB openly apologize to Ndigbo and South East Governors.
“Since the South East Governors called it a bluff over His antics, IPOB connived with Enemies of Igbos to stage a failed revolution protests which was unsuccessful in South East, now they’ve resorted to violent approach to do the bidding of Presidential hopeful outside Igbo land to Smak down all Presidential hopefuls in Igbo land,we know how a former Minister from Anambra State persuaded a Northern Presidential Candidate to use IPOB’s nuisance to hoodwinked Igbos into voting for the politician after visiting Nnamdi Kanu in Isreal, nevertheless, South East Governors will never negotiate with Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, blackmail and settlement strategies is dead on arrival, recently Barrister Aloy Ejimakor is doing damage control for Nnamdi Kanu,but it’s too late, we will ensure that Governors ignore your antics”.
