Ojilima Hospital Services Limited, a health facility service company in Nigeria with specialty in building, furnishing and equipping of private hospitals, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Philippines-based Medical Equipment Technology Company, Kosmic Technologies Inc., to establish a Service Centre in Nigeria.
According to a press statement issued Monday in Abuja by the consultant to Ojimila Hospital Services Ltd., Dr. Igomu, Joseph Augustine, the objective of the partnership “is to provide affordable and cost-friendly services to private, state, and federal hospitals in the area of refurbishing, installing, fixing and maintenance of medical equipment such as CT scanner, MRI, Cath Lab., Conventional, Analog and Digital Medical Printers, Digital Film Imager and Medical Grade LCD Monitors enhancer.”
The statement indicated further that, “The MoU was signed during the Nigeria – Philippines Business Forum, in conjunction with the Nigeria – Philippines Women in Business Leadership Summit, which was held from November 15 to November 16, 2022, at Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati – Metro, Manila, Philippines.”
It added that, “Signing the MoU on behalf of Ojilima Hospital Services Ltd, the chairman of the company, H.E. Consul Emmanuel Akpakwu, noted that the partnership will strengthen his company’s ability and capacity to drive sustainable development in Nigeria’s health sector.”
Mr. Akpakwu commended the track record of Kosmic Technologies Inc., “which has been providing quality services to local and foreign hospitals as well as diagnostic clinics since 2003.”
In his remarks, the vice-president of Kosmic technologies Inc., Scott Nelson, said, “The mission of Kosmic Technologies Incorporated is to ensure after-sale maintenance of MRI and CT scan machines, as well as build clients’ value by delivering high quality products, services, and solutions in innovative and cost-effective ways.”
According to him, his company’s cooperation with Ojilima Hospital Services Ltd. is central to achieving the impact of Kosmic Services since the company plays a key role in the advancement of the medical and health industry through its quality services on highly advanced, innovative medical technology.
“It is hoped that this MoU will contribute to improving the competitiveness and capability of hospital services in Nigeria,” he added.
