Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state at the weekend commissioned the Emporium 5 of the Everyday Supermarket in Owerri.
While commissioning the two-storey edifice, the Governor noted that there was poverty in the land but because of the inflow of money in Owerri, the consumption pattern had not changed as there were a lot of hotels and other businesses springing up in the state capital.
He commended the management of the supermarket for admitting that an enabling environment was provided for them and assured that he would be willing to give them another piece of land if they so desired. He seized the opportunity afforded by the ceremony to invite other investors who may be willing to do business in the state to come forward and indicate.

Earlier, the Chairman of Everyday Group, Dr Charles Dimnwaobi thanked the governor for providing an enabling environment for business to flourish in the state and for his physical presence to commission the project. He prayed God to continue to give the Governor wisdom to steer the ship of state.
The Everyday boss disclosed that his organization encouraged people with different products to come and showcase them, adding that he had a platform on which they and other people could be empowered.
Also speaking, the Zonal Head, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Michael Ani said they decided to have business links with Everyday Group because they had implicit confidence in their Chairman  whom they said possessed good vision, business acumen and ideas and would be determined to partner with others who shared the same qualities with him in order to take them to the level they desired.
