Okorocha’s daughter institutes N5.2 bn suit against Ihedioha

Daughter of the erstwhile governor of Imo State and wife of the Action Alliance (AA) governorship candidate in the recently concluded Governorship election in the state, Uloma Rochas Nwosu has instituted a N5.2 billion case against Governor Emeka Ihedioha and four others at the Federal High Court Owerri with Suit No: FHC/OW/C5/92…2019.

According to a press release issued by the Chief Press Secretary to Senator Rochas Okorocha, Sam Onwuemodo, Uloma is claiming the money as damages over the alleged invasion and looting of her business premises, House of Freeda in Owerri by people believed to be agents of the governor’s Recovery of Public Property Committee and wants the enforcement of her fundamental human rights.

Onwuemeodo further disclosed that Uloma went to court with two others, namely, Nathaniel Okon and Abiodun Ali, while other respondents/defendants added to the name of the governor in the suit are the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Imo State, Hon Jasper Ndubuaku who heads the Recovery Committee, Hon Kenneth Anaeme and Christian Obiano, believed to be members of the committee.

He also disclosed that four similar cases were underway.
