On Thursday, former bread-seller turned super model, Olajumoke Orisaguna went back to school.
Olajumoke, an illiterate bread-seller discovered by famed photographer TY Bello earlier this year, arrived at Poise Nigeria, Lekki to begin her transformational courses in Etiquette and Communication.
Mother of one, local bread seller and married to an aluminum door maker, Olajumoke is now a household name after she mistakenly hawked by while TY Bello was handling Nigerian-British rapper, Tinie Tempah’s Street theme photoshoot earlier in the year, and the bread seller was accidentally featured in one of the photos.
When the photo was released, she became a social media phenomenon as people started asking if the lady was a model because of the way she fitted so perfectly into the shoot.
Long after the shoot, TY decided to go back to the location to look for her.
She finally found her and the rest is history.
She has been featured by many international media houses including CNN. Olajumoke is not only on scholarship at Poise Nigeria, she lives in a free posh home, she now struts high-profile fashion runways after undergoing modeling training, she is a brand Ambassador to several top brands including Shirley’s Confectionery, Abuja, among other accolades.
