The Deputy President of the Senate and Delta APC governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has congratulated the Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Highness, Obi (Prof.) Chike Edozien, on his 98th birthday.
In a congratulatory message to the first-class monarch, Obarisi Omo-Agege extolled his virtues and saluted him for his selfless service to his subjects, the state and the country in general.
Omo-Agege, who paid glowing tributes to the nonagenarian, said the state was privileged to have such a king of repute and royal standing.
According to him, at 98, Obi (Prof.) Edozien continues to exude uncommon wisdom, strength and courage in leading his people and serving Delta state and the nation.
He described the traditional ruler as “a man of integrity, a lover of peace and an inspiration to many” and prayed to God to grant him “continuous good health to lead his people and bring greater prosperity to his domain.”
