Catholic Archbishop of Abuja Archdiocese, John Cardinal Olorunfemi
Onaiyekan (CON), has called on Nigerians to unite and avoid any selfish ambition for the peaceful co-existence in the country.
Onaiyekan made the call at the 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration of Christ The King College (CKC), Gwagwalada area council, recently.

He said “no nation on earth can stand without unity,” adding that divine intervention on the lives of mankind by God was marvelous.
According to him, 25 years of success and greatness have been through hard work and perseverance from the management of the school.
He said the school “will be more of quality and greatness and may give birth to a brother college in the next 10 years.”

The Cardinal called on relevant educational institutions in the country to rally support for CKC for its actualisation of greater heights.
On his part, the president of the college’s Old Boys Association (OBA), Barrister Chinedu Agorom, commended the Marist Brothers of the School and teachers for their consistent and positive strides in building up the students.
He said the Old Boys “shall continue to be good ambassadors and shining
light of the school for every citizen of Nigeria to emulate.”

“We join the management, staff, students and parents of this great institution in the celebration of this milestone and prayer for greater achievements in the years ahead,” he said.
Also speaking, the secretary and PRO of the Association, respectively,
Mr. Martins Abanobi and Nnamdi Bosah, commended the Catholic cleric for his fatherly support and prayers for the college.
They promised to work hard to take the school to greater heights, adding that there was no limit to the successes they intended to achieve.
