He said, “the party views as commendable the second batch of Amotekun recruits, and the additional 20 new operational vehicles to the State security outfit, for effective coverage of the 18 local government areas of the state from crime and vice.

“Ondo APC observes that enhancement of security measures in the Sunshine State has allayed fears of violent invasion among the residents and prospective investors, staying effective security is prerequisite for prosperous society.

“The ruling party argues that security of lives and property has no alternative. No amount of money and efforts by any government could be considered outrageous for the safety and wellbeing of the citizenry.

“The party further contends that security is too important to be left entirely for the government, and calls on individuals and corporate bodies to generously support the initiative.

“The APC implores the Amotekun corps to ensure proper usage and maintenance of the operational vehicles, and always make good their pledge to work in making sure the state is free of crime and vices.”
