The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared intention to appeal against the Ondo governorship tribunal judgement.
In a release signed by the state publicity secretary of party, and on behalf its candidate Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, at the October 20, 2020 governorship election, Kennedy Ikantu Peretei said appeal will be made against the judgement of the Ondo governorship elections tribunal delivered virtually on Tuesday.
According to him, “it is important to stress that, in its wisdom, the tribunal admitted that issues raised by the petitioners were sufficient for consideration but constitutional, which the tribunal is not in a position to do justice to.”
While appealing to all party faithful across the state to be steadfast and remain calm in the present circumstance, assured of victory in the long run.
